When you send the multitrack, please provide me with all kinds of mix notes regarding production & mixing effects, as well as links to the reference tracks that you would like your mix to emulate.

I require a folder with WAV files (44,1 kHz). The multitrack should be bounced from bar one, and all tracks must be the same length and the same sample rate.

If your DAW has a NORMALISE option for bouncing, please make sure to turn if OFF. Also, please make sure that your tracks are not clipping before you bounce them out.

The multitrack files must be DRY, without any delays, reverbs or modulation effects. However, if you have a specific effect or a creative element, like sweeps or space effects, which are an integral part of your sound, please print them into the file, but provide a clearly labelled DRY VERSION of the same track within the multitrack folder when you submit your project. Multitrack should be labeled in the following scheme:

  1. Kick in
  2. Kick out
  3. Snare top
  4. Snare bottom
  5. OH
  6. Room
  7. Bass DI
  8. Bass AMP
  9. Guitar (mic model 1)
  10. Guitar (mic model 2)
  11. Lead Vocal
  12. Backing vocal 1
  13. Backing vocal 2

Please note that this is just an example. You can name your tracks the way you like, but please be consistent, make it look clean and label the tracks with numbers as presented above.

Once your song is ready for mixing, feel free to contact me to discuss the submission of your multitrack. Please include a brief description of your project and your expectation, a link to at least one reference track (YouTube or Spotify), and your email address.
